Rock climbing is the new fun thing for the boys.
Freestone Recreation Center in Gilbert, Arizona has a 43 foot rock wall. Prices vary from resident to non-resident but all prices are inexpensive. Currently, a non resident can climb for hours for $3.75. For a Gilbert resident it is even less.
You have to sign a waiver before you climb. If you want to drop your child off for a playdate, make sure to have the waiver ready. They keep it on file and it is good forever.

My boys are obsessed with it right now.
I’m a little obsessed with it too.
It’s inexpensive, staffed and climated controlled. STAFFED is my new favorite word. It means someone else is clipping and unclipping and helping them. I love working with kids but I also love watching someone else work with my kids.
I requested several books from the public library about rock climbing. Here are links to some titles Amazon.
Youtube has rock climbing videos as well.
